SloGlo X TURIST is a new collaboration between electronic producer/
drummer SloGlo and composer/keyboardist TURIST.
The group creates long form improvised pieces, blending minimal acoustic sounds with samples and electronic synthesis.
With their new record the group finds comfort and serenity in stillness and repetition, allowing subtle nuances to form and guide their compositions.

TURIST:

Mix a bunch of Casio keyboards with Geisha song, video game scores and SPA music, add polaroid pictures from Mallorcan charter vacations of the 1980s, and you have the recipe for TURIST's music. It's electronic jazz with room for heroic keyboard solos, kraut psyc and open improvisations or "Jazz played on...cheap synthesizers!" as the Polish magazine JazzPRESS put it.
